Hi there! I’m Lisa, owner of Roslindale Apothecary. Roslindale Apothecary is inspired by my lifelong enchantment with the natural world. Named in honor of the town I grew up and still live in, my love for the plants that grow here and the belonging and comfort I feel among them.

Roslindale Apothecary centers community and Earth care, connection, resilience, empowerment and sustainability. Restoring our interdependent relationship with plants grounds us into being, awakens our senses and tunes us into the wider world around us.

🤍

I grew up on a maple tree lined street in the Boston neighborhood of Roslindale, surrounded by my Italian-American family and close friends that became family. Intuitively drawn to the natural world, I spent most of my childhood barefoot outdoors, mixing plants into potions and watching my dandelion seed wishes dance away in the wind.

Currently, I spend my days tending to my three young children, making plant medicine and sharing it widely with my community.

I have been formally studying herbalism since 2014, through continuous guided and self-education. I apprenticed under Madelon Hope and Linda Patterson at the Boston School of Herbal Studies and completed trainings led by Kami McBride, Dr. Aviva Romm and The Herbal Academy.

*If you’re experiencing financial hardship, please don’t hesitate to reach out for discounted or free assistance. I grew up with abundance in many areas of my life, though financial wealth was not among them. I would be more than happy to chat with you. It's my deepest belief that connecting with plants is our birthright and herbalism is to be accessible to all and responsibly shared.
